The original liver treats for dogs were made by veterinarian Dr Marie Rowe, who discovered that there were no natural, premium treats available to dog owners who wished to use treats as rewards or for training incentives. So Marie went to her local butchers, bought some human-grade beef liver, sliced, oven dried and packaged it…and created her first batch of 100% natural liver dog treats.
